Split File

The File Split dialog is used to set the parameters for the File Split function.

Split - The file to split is shown in the Split field and is the selected file in the Files window. The field is fixed.

Size - The file size of the file to be split is shown in the Size field. This field is also fixed.

Split Size - The Split Size field is a spin control and is set to the desired size of each split file. The setting is limited to 1 GiB and is displayed in KiB. The file is split on the exact byte count entered with this control.

To - The To field is the target directory for the split files. This directory may be set using point & click or typed in manually. It must be an existing directory.
