The Remote Computer List dialog is used to select a computer to use for a remote resource. This is primarily useful when connecting peer-to-peer to a Microsoft Windows resource and an automatic detection of the computer has not occurred.

The dialog is a user generated and maintained list of named computers that may be connected in a LAN. If the computer name is not already in the list, enter it. Otherwise simply double click the desired computer. This will start a search for the computer on the LAN and close the dialog. The search results will be shown in the LAN Connect dialog.
