Lan Connect

The LAN Connect dialog is used to display and connect remote and local shares to an available drive letter.

Controls

• Assign drive - List of free drive letters available to use as a mapped drive.
  
• Resource Path List - List of resources that match the optional set conditions.
  
• Remote shares - Check to list all remote shares found in a resource scan.
  
• Local shares - Check to list all local shares found in a resource scan.
  
• Remote aliases - Check to list all remote aliases found in a resource scan.
  
• Local aliases - Check to list all local aliases found in a resource scan.
  
• Check access - Check to force an access check when connecting to a share.
  
• Manual scan - Check to force selection from user generated list of computers
  
• Auto close - Check to auto close the dialog when connecting to a share.

Pushbuttons

• Connect - Initiates mapping the selected share to the selected drive letter. 
  Query - Displays several LAN states in the Message History dialog window.
  
  Computers - Opens a user generated pick list of computer names that may be used to manual scan for resources.
  
  Refresh - Refreshes the Resource Path List for the set conditions.
