The Import Initialization File dialog is used to import an older FILESTAR.INI or FILESTAR.BKI file for the purpose of updating a current file with parameters from the imported file. The imported file may be a version 2 file. Typically it is a current version backup file. The import process copies all data that has the same key name and size from the imported file to the current in use file. The imported file may be named anything but must be a FS/2 INI file.
The toolbar is not imported. Users should always save and keep a copy of the toolbar as filename.bar in the FS/2 directory. Restore a toolbar with the command Setup->Toolbar->Load Toolbar.
To import a INI file, invoke the menu option Commands->Import INI data. A small dialog asking for the file to import will open. Use FS/2 to navigate to the directory with the file to import and click on the file. This will fill the input field with the full path to the file and filename. Then press Import. The FS/2 window will disappear while importing the file and reappear at completion.

Unless importing an older version file, it is recommend that the filestar.bki file in the FS/2 \Backup directory be imported.
