The Directory entry field sets and shows the directory to be searched. It is only enabled if the Search scope is set to Directory.
This field is set to the current selected FileStar directory when the dialog is opened or whenever the focus changes to the dialog. To change the directory, press the F9 key (brings the FileStar window to the top), then single click on any directory in the FileStar directory tree and press F9 again to bring the dialog back to the top of the desktop windows. Of course you may alternatively type the full directory path specification into the field.
This field is limited to 255 characters.
If the Save pushbutton is pressed, the entry in this field is saved to the drop down list. The list can hold 10 entries. When the list is full, the bottom entry is pushed off the list.
