Compare

The Files->Compare menu option has conditional submenu items to initiate a byte or binary file comparison or to find duplicate files. It defaults to byte comparison using an external program if the user does not click on the boxed submenu arrow.

• Use External Program - This option will start an external file compare program as configured in the setup notebook page 3_1.

• Binary Compare - This option starts an internal function to compare 32-bit CRC values.

• Show Duplicates - This option will start a function that removes all non-duplicate files from the file window. The file window must be in a Multi-Directory view containing more than a single directory.
