Attributes

The Files->Attributes menu item activates a Change File Attributes dialog by default. Using this dialog, you may change the read only (R), hidden (H), system (S) and archived (A) file attributes for the selected file(s).

There are three cascaded submenu items with functions to delete the longname or subject EAs for the selected files;

• Set - Default item calls the Change File Attributes dialog.

• Extended Attributes - Calls the EA View dialog where EAs may be viewed, edited, deleted, or added.

• Delete Longname EAs - Deletes the LONGNAME extended attribute from all selected files if one exists.

• Delete Subject EAs - Deletes the SUBJECT extended attribute from all selected files if one exists.

• Delete Icon EAs - Deletes the ICON extended attribute from all selected files if one exists.

• Delete Named EAs - Queries for an EA name, the deletes the named extended attribute from all selected files if one exists.
