Details View Options

Settings Notebook - Page 2_4

Window A or B - The Details view for each file window is configured independently. The Window radio buttons select which file window is the object for the settings. You may notice that the actual windows are selected in the background and the results of the settings may be viewed immediately.

Detail view columns - Set the columns in the desired order using the spin controls. Selecting 'None' will hide the column. However it is not necessary to use the Hide position except for default columns of Name, FileSize, LW Date, LW Time and Attributes. The other columns may be hidden using the Window Options menu.

The Name and Title columns must be in columns 1 and 2 for the Compare Directories function to work with longname comparisons on a FAT-HPFS directory comparison. It is recommended that these two columns remain in the default position.

Do not set duplicate columns. The dialog will not exit if this condition exists.

Update pushbutton - Updates the selected window with the set configuration.

Titles - This check box sets whether a Titles column is visible or not visible.

Splitbar - This check box sets whether the vertical splitbar is visible or not visible.

Icons - This check box sets whether an Icon column is visible or not visible.

Lines - This check box sets whether vertical dividing lines are visible or not visible.
