The delete function is not included in the single key commands. This option enables the Del key as a single key "hot key" for file AND directory deletions. Note that empty directories will be instantly deleted if Confirm Directory Delete is not checked. Directories that contain data will still have a last ditch confirmation dialog presented. If Confirm File Delete is not checked, the selected file is deleted with no further user input. Determination of whether to delete files or directories is based on the window with the input focus.
