Session
Message History Dialog
Three levels of messages may be displayed:
The level of messages displayed is specified by selecting the corresponding check box on the dialog. The last ten Warning and Error messages and the last twenty Information messages are saved and presented in the Message Window. Only one level may be displayed at a time. The dialog opens with the level of the last error selected. To review the other messages, select the message level desired.
The Message History dialog may be resized in height to see all messages of each type. It is not sizable in width.
Messages are listed in the reverse order of occurrence with the last message listed in the top line.
Most warning and all error messages are logged to the fs_msg.log, located in the FS/2 directory. An example of a warning message that is not logged is the 'Drive X: is not ready' message.
Message Logs
If Log Info Messages is enabled (Setup->Logs->Log Info Messages), all information messages are also logged to the fs_msg.log.
If Log Operations is enabled (Setup->Logs->Log Operations), a number of messages are also logged to the fs_ops.log, which is also found in the FS/2 directory.
