The purpose of the main window bubble help is to assist new users in quickly learning the features related to various windows, pushbuttons and other controls, some of which are not all that obvious. A help bubble, in general, will identify the window purpose or control function and the keyboard keys that may be used to either activate the window or perform various functions. It can be easily toggled on/off with Ctrl+H or the Setup->Bubble Help menu item whenever needed.

Help Example
Each of the six (6) internal windows (Toolbar, Drives, Directories, File windows A and B, and the Data Panel) and the Action Bar main menu have bubble help. In addition, each of the controls at the bottom of the Directories window and File windows plus all the pushbuttons, subwindows and LEDs in the Data Panel have associated bubble help.
The main window bubble help will be automatically activated each time the version changes.
The main window bubble help is a extension of the Toolbar bubble help and the Toolbar must be displayed for the main window bubble help to function. However, the Toolbar and main window bubble help may be turned on or off individually without affecting the operation of the other.
To activate the bubble help, simply place the mouse pointer over the control in question and wait for the delay time for the bubble to appear. Once displayed, the pointer may be moved to another control and the help for that control is instantly displayed. The display time is reset whenever a new bubble is displayed. You may therefore move the pointer before the display time expires and prevent the bubble for disappearing until the preset time out.
The delay and display times for the main window bubble help are three (3) times the Toolbar bubble help delay and display times. The default Toolbar settings are 1.0 sec delay and 3.0 sec display time which gives a 3.0 sec delay and 9.0 sec display time for the main window bubble help. To change either of these values, see Change Style of the Toolbar.
The Name and Message windows in the Data Panel each have left and right areas of activation. It is not possible to move the pointer within the window to activate help for the other half of the window. The pointer must be moved out of the window and the window reentered in the left or right half for the correct bubble to appear.
Placement of the pointer to activate the bubble help for the Toolbar window is somewhat difficult in that there are only about three video lines at the top and bottom of the Toolbar window that will activate it. Inside this area, the Toolbar bubble help is activated.
After the main window bubble help has been used enough to have a basic understanding of the main window controls, especially those in the Data Panel, it should be turned off.
