A 'vertical tape' of the number of running threads may be displayed in the Data Panel. When enabled (default is enabled), it appears between the X: Used and X: Free buttons if the number of threads exceeds the baseline six threads. Each extra thread increments the tape one block. The maximum height of the tape is six blocks (equals twelve threads).

The thread count tape display appears green when the total thread count is 7 to 12, yellow for 13 to 18 and red above 18 threads. The program is limited to 24 threads.
To disable/enable the thread count tape display, LMB click in the area where it appears on the Data Panel. A RMB click in the Date window will show the numeric count and a LMB click will restore the date.
